The Copenhagen climate Challenge is the outcome of an original idea by Rev Philip Foster of England to arrange a meeting in Copenhagen on the first day of the UNFCCC COP15 conference aiming to seek a treaty to replace the Kyoto Protocol on climate change. After consultation with the International climate Science Coalition, it was agreed that, instead of just another forum at which speakers would argue that the UNIPCC’s claims of man-made “global warming have no foundation either in science or historical and current observation, it was time to challenge IPCC and its supporters to show justification for their claims.
Hence, the name and the concept of CHALLENGE.
